Crazyness

Wow, it's been over a month since I last posted. I feel very sheepish. Life has taken over and there just hasn't been enough time in the day. So much has happened in the last month that it would take a very long post to go thru it all. Suffice it to say that even in all this business at work, home, with volunteer stuff, and life changes, I'm still having fun.

We're getting our house painted this week. That's a definition for chaos. The new floors come on November 12 and the new countertops on November 21 and then we're all done!! Outside, inside, back and front...all done! We'll replace windows next year.

BooBoo started her 4th year of her biology degree last month and is in full swing exams. She's still working part time at the dry cleaners and she and her beau are talking the "M" word...hmmmm.

Gruntman is still taking it easy, in "summer" mode, even though summer is long gone. He's been applying for warehouse jobs, and has even been offered some, but the hours aren't conducive to one who has to take the bus....he's got lots of excuses, and I'm not even worried about. He's a smart young man and once he figures out what he wants to do with life his focus and drive will take him there....that and the prayers of his mother!

I'm seriously considering applying to Royal Roads next year for their Conflict Management and Analysis master's program. I'll apply for adult learner status. What I don't have in post secondary education I believe I can more than make up for with my degree in "hard knocks" and "life"...plus my 25 year career in claims has got to count for something towards conflict resolution.

Well, that's about for now...just wanted this to be a quick update to those who've been wondering where I went. I'll try and come around and visit some of you soon.

Blessings to all

I'm just so glad that you're OK! I've missed you. But I completely understand how life is just so hectic all the time!!!

Well, I've been wondering how you're doing and glad to hear it's all good stuff that's been keeping you away from blogland. You have your priorities right!

I hope you can get into the master's program of your desire. Most of the students I work with are of the age that they really know what they want and why they're here, so it makes it nice to work with them - except I'm retiring in August! I can hardly believe it, but have so much to do to get things ready for the next person. So much of what I do is just instinctive and it will be hard to get that down on paper.

Sounds like your life is swinging. I know it is hard to post very often. I believe we ALL have gotten into the same mode. Please, whenever you can, post some of the wisdom God is teaching you for all to hear. Blessings sister.
