The Rose

I see the petals of the rose so soft to the touch of my hands. The color is vibrant and yet, so delicate. How You, oh Lord, have made such beauty in a flower. The budding is new life coming forth from a seed that has beeen planted. What bearuty comes from something that was not and now is. As the rose opens up and the fragrance is allowed to escape, it fills the surrounding area with a sweet-smelling aroma. Will we allow ourselves to blossom or just remain a bud? Let's let God remove the thorns and in the pain of being vulnerable, apply the balm of Gilead.

Blossoming

Devotional
Let us go early to the vineyards to see if the vines have budded, if their blossoms have opened and if the pomegranates are in bloom - there I will give you my love. Song of Songs 7:12

Father, I see the bud and that's all. I don't see what lies ahead. Lead me by Your sweet Holy spirit that I may be all You have desired me to become in You. I want the fragrance to come forth to touch other's lives.

My Child come to Me and let Me take your hand. I will lead you into all truth if you let Me. This is a Trust Issue for you, learning to trust Me with Yourself. If you remain tight in the bud and don't allow Me to speak words of healing, you will not blossom, but only bud. I want you to become the most beautiful woman, the one I have designed you to be. what the enemy has stolen I want to restore. "The winter will past".
